‘Disco Inferno’ Singer, Jimmy Ellis, Has Died, He Was Seventy Four!

‘Disco Inferno’ Singer, Jimmy Ellis has passed away he was seventy four years of age. He had passed away on Thursday in South Carolina and the reason was due to Alzheimer Disease, reports the New York Times.

 It has been for thirty five years that he was the lead singer of ‘The Trammps’ bringing sons out in the 70‘s. He also will be remembered for the song “burn, baby, burn.” He leaves behind his wife, Beverly, daughter Erika Stinson; son, James III; three brothers; a sister; eight grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

A memorial service is set for next week in Charlotte, North Carolina.
