‘Former’ The Rookie, Dennis Quaid has been sued over a near fatal horse accident. A claim is out by a horseback rider as he reports that he was almost killed in riding the horse on Dennis Quaid‘s equestrian estate, for this he is suing the ‘Parent Trap’ star over his life-threatening injuries.
The person in question seventy year old Lester Wood has put claim fourth that Quaid did give permission to him to a trail which is on Quaid’s property which is nearby park in the exclusive Pacific Palisades area of Los Angeles.
What wood his saying in an interview with the Palisadian-Post newspaper, just suddenly a sprinkler system next to Quaid’s home just suddenly activated which had spooked the horse getting him going and falling on top of him.
He was taken to hospital in critical condition with a concussion, fractured scapula, torn aorta, multiple pulmonary emboli, broken ribs, a nicked liver, a tear in his bladder, fractured lumbar discs, a shattered pelvis, internal bleeding, and a torn miniscus in his knee.
Wood at the time of the accident was not wearing a helmet and cost almost five hundred thousand dollars in medical bills, putting blame on Quaid.
Wood says he was not wearing a helmet and was looking down at his watch at the time of the accident. Quaid who no longer owns the estate for what he believes is a flawed trail design.
We contacted Quaid‘s rep for a reaction to the lawsuit. So far, no response.
