Josh Brent has been charged with the death of his teammate Jerry Brown. The Dallas Cowboy nose tackle has been for intoxicated vehicular manslaughter following a car accident which did kill another Cowboys’ practice squad linebacker Brown.
What the Dallas Morning News has reported is that the accident did occur on the East State Highway 114 in the early hours on Saturday which did claim the live of the twenty five year old, who did happen to be Brent’s University of Illinois teammate and friend. What allegedly happened he was driving very fast on the service road, loosing control, hit the curb and flipped.
Brent was awake when officers arrived at the scene, he was trying to drag Brown from the burning car who had been unconscious, taken to a nearby nearby hospital, he was pronounced dead. Brent also failed a sobriety test on the scene.
