‘CBS News’ Organizes Memorial For Legendary Journalist Mike Wallace!

CBS news will be holding memorial for Mike Wallace in New York City. The American journalist, game show host, actor and media personality was a prominent news maker during his sixty year career.

Wallace had passed away earlier this month at the age of ninety three. Well now friends and family colleagues of the Minutes journalist will honor his legacy on May 1, 2012 in New York City, reports TV Line.

The memorial service is to be held at the Rose Hall in Time Warner Center. Mike‘s son Chris Wallace, who is expected to attend the memorial, reacted to his father’s passing by describing him as

”fascinating and funny, challenging and exasperating”.

“While work often came first for him, over the last 20 years, he worked hard to make connections with his family. He became my best friend,” Fox News Sunday host Chris said.

Mike had been a host on the US television news program Minutes for thirty eight seasons and then stepped down in the year 2006.
