‘Blink-182′ Pull Out Of Upcoming Tour, Drummer In Agony Over Surgery!

American rockband ‘Blink’ 182 had to cancel their North America concerts, due to the fact that drummer Travis Barker needs to recover from an operation. The ‘All the Small Things stars are backing out of upcoming dates following Barker’s hospital admittance to remove his tonsils.

Barker posted a photo of himself undergoing the tonsillectomy on his Twitter.com page earlier this month May 12, 2012, and told fans he was in agony after the surgery.

He writes,

“My throat still feels like I’m swallowing broken f**king glass. Looking forward 2 (sic) this being over with… My throat is still bleeding from getting my tonsils yanked.”

At this time the band is dropping out of their May 2012 shows in the U.S. and Canada, Barker needs the time to heal. A statement posted on their web site reads,

“The band apologies for any inconvenience as a result of these cancellations and thanks their fans for their ongoing
