Ben Affleck’ Fathers Failure In Acting Pushed Him Into The Right Direction!

Ben Affleck, was motivated by his actor father’s failure. The American actor, film director, writer, and producer had been so at quiet an early age due his father  not making it.

The Armageddon star did get his first shot in a U.S. educational science series The Voyage of the Mimi when he was at the young age of twelve, this was during the same time his own dad Timothy tried to hit it big.

The also Pearl Harbor and Daredevil star has also revealed that he does want to walk into his dad’s footsteps, for this he worked very hard to beat all odds against the family curse.

He tells GQ magazine,

“I lived with this tremendous fear of failure because my father was a playwright and a director, and I think he did a couple of things as a child as an actor as well, and… he failed, basically. Not just being an alcoholic and stuff. He didn’t do what he said he was going to do. He worked with guys who later became famous, like James Woods and Dustin Hoffman, and he wasn’t successful. And that wasn’t going to be me…

“That definitely drove me. It drove me and drove me and drove me… and I have it to thank for not giving up.”

Affleck is married to actress Jennifer Garner,they do share two daughter together, one is Violet and the other is Seraphina, they also have a son called Samuel. He along with Matt Damon also founded the production company LivePlanet.
