American rock band, The Beach Boys are going to perform at the Grammys, the band which was performed back in 1961. The originally beach boys are brothers Brian, Dennis and Carl Wilson, their cousin Mike Love, and friend Al Jardine.
The surviving members of the band will reunite once again for the first time in twenty years, for the Grammy Awards. The legends will begin their celebrations for their fifty years as a band at the event when, Brian Wilson, Mike Love, Al Jardine, Bruce Johnston and David marks do take to the stage.
The group will sing a melody of their hits, and also joining them will be Maroon 5 and Foster the People. They will also make a new album this year.
Speaking of the group getting back together, Brian said:
“This anniversary is special to me because I miss the boys and it will be a thrill for me to make a new record and be on stage with them again.”
Al Jardine added:
”From our humble beginnings as brothers, cousins and friends, we have been honored to sing the praises of California, and I’m really excited for our fans to be able to see us again in concert on the world stage.”
The Grammy Awards do take place at the Staples Center in Los Angeles this Sunday, February 12, 2012.
